Grand Prismatic Spring is an iconic symbol of Yellowstone;
it appears in bright colors on the covers of Yellowstone guidebooks.
But this is how it looked to us when we visited - enshrouded in steam.
We got a slightly better view by hiking uphill on the Fairy Falls Trail.
